These are instructions for updating past changeset [1155]

This changeset changes the way gregarius handles the update process and so some care needs to be taken if you are upgrading a live installation to this changeset. Updating past this changeset will cause lots of duplicates and unread items till all your feeds refresh. Usually only the first update should exihibit these problems and then things will settle down after that. It sometimes takes longer if your feeds timeout...

These are the steps that one should take before svn'ing up to ease the upgrade process

#. Update your feeds and read all your items. Do this step once more (just to make sure no feeds timed out)

#. svn up

#. Update your feeds again (there should be lots of duplicates and unread items now)

# Use the markallasread.php file in the admin section to mark your items as read. (you can go to http://example.com/rss/admin/markallasread.php ) or you can run this file from the command line. It does not produce any output.

# Update your feeds again. If all your feeds refreshed the first time around. there should not be any duplicates from now on.
