Description

There really should be a way to 'expire' (delete) items from feeds based on the catagory or folder they are in.

Thanks,

Hmm, do you have a compelling use case? :)

Sure. I have a number of 'deal' sites, such as slickdeals.net, hotdealclub, etc. And they throw out a *ton* of entrys, it would be nice to be able to prune them, as once the deal is expired (within a few days usually), it's useless.

How about providing a plugin interface to do this. I want to be able to do something similar except I want to keep certain items that match certain keywords and prune the rest. Perhaps add a plugin hook inside the code that will eventually fix #47.

I'm all for doing this via a plugin as well. I think we'll have to wait for #276 to get this done.
