Change "Mark this Feed as Read" Text

When there are greater than 10 unread items in a particular feed, and when only 10 of them are shown on a page, the link/button "Mark this Feed as Read" is shown.

However, clicking the button marks only the currently displayed item as read. The rest of them remain unread.

So please change the text on the link to read "Mark Currently Displayed Items as Read", or "Mark These Items as Read".

Yes I agree with this one. It is confusing. We will need translations.

So what happens to the "mark this feed as read" functionality?

We are thinking of having a plugin do this button, where you can select various options like whether you want a "mark these feeds as read" button on the main page and on individual feed pages. This button will actually mark all items in the feed as read (including those not shown). The text of the current button will be changed to "mark these items as read".

I think there will someday be a plugin made... I should just do it since I would use it as well. I think also I will provide three options to display "mark this read" links beside each feed, folder, and category in the sidebar. Thoughts?

A plugin and those extra options sounds like a good idea to me.

I am guessing that the translations in other languages need to be changed also. can someone who reads fr/de etc confirm this?

We can just need to move the LBL constants to the section of the file(s) that says
